Abstract
Five tuftsin analogs, containing 1 or 2 of the basic amino acid residues, respectively in position: 2, 3, 2 and 4, 2 and 3 - of the peptide chain, were synthesized and tested for biologic activity by the Najjar test. Tuftsin stimulated phagocytosis in granulocytes from guinea pig peritoneal exudates.
