Abstract
The relativistic R-matrix method is used to calculate elastic and inelastic cross sections for electron incident on lead atoms with energies from 0-7 eV. The role of the resonances is analysed and the differential cross section and the spin polarisation are compared with R-matrix calculations on Hg and Tl atoms. Keywords
