Abstract
The superconducting transition temperature has been investigated for almost single phase (L1-x Ba x ) a Cu b O c-y compound samples where L stands for La or Y and (a,b,c) values of (6,6,14) respectively and y the oxygen deficiency has not been evaluated. The structures have tetragonal symmetry and the superconducting transition temperatures of 50 K and 54 K have been determined for the L=La and L=Y samples respectively. Keywords
