[fre] Qu'entend-on par consommation élargie? Deux grands types d'approches peuvent être distingués, qui se recoupent partiellement d'ailleurs : d'une part l'élargissement, en termes de biens et services, du champ de la consommation, notamment au domaine des activités non marchandes monétaires ou non monétaires — telles que le travail ménager et le temps de loisirs — , d'autre part les tentatives pour mesurer le bien-être. L'article présenté ici, après avoir rappelé la définition de fa consommation des ménages actuellement retenue en comptabilité nationale, décrit rapidement les différents travaux existants sur la consommation élargie et en expose les objectifs. [eng] Extended concepts of consumption - What is understood by « extended consumption »? Two large types of approaches are available (they converge in a partial manner, however) : on the one hand, there is the enlargening, in terms of goods and services, of the field of consumption, notably in the area of non-mercantile monetary activities or non-monetary activities (such as that of household work and leisure time); on the other hand, there are the attempts at measuring the well-being of persons. The article, after recalling the definition of the consumption of households actually used in national accounts describes the various studies that exist on extended concepts of consumption and presents their purposes. [spa] Conceptos para medir un consumo ampliado - ¿Que se entiende por consumo ampliado? Se distinguen dos formas de acercamiento que se mezclan parcialmente : por una parte el esparcimiento en términos de bienes y servicios, en el campo del consumo, netamente en las actividades monetarias y no monetarias fuera del mercado, tales como el trabajo doméstico y el tiempo libre, por otra parte los ensayos para medir el bienestar. El presente artículo evoca la definición del consumo del hogar adoptado por la contabilidad nacional y luego describe rápidamente los diferentes trabajos que existen del, acerca consumo ampliado y expone los objetivos.
