The anatomy and management of aneurysms of the internal iliac artery

Abstract
Very large aneurysms of the internal iliac artery cause distortion of the normal anatomy and this is described in some detail. The internal iliac artery has large parietal branches as well as visceral branches and control of the parietal branches is essential when surgery of such aneurysms is undertaken. The operation for such aneurysms is described.
