Abstract

The influence of estrum upon speed of learning in the rat was measured by running in the simple maze 16 rats during estrum with 16 control animals run during diestrum. No significant difference was observed between the 2 groups and it is concluded that when food is the incentive, the 9 sex cycle is not an important factor in learning the maze.
