Abstract
Several of the newer models of programmable pocket calculators can accept programs that permit them to rapidly and accurately solve the Theis converging series formula. By freeing the Theis equation from the W(u) reference table, multiple well, variable pumping rate programs can be designed for operation on a simple input‐output basis, using additive drawdown and image well theory.Keywords
