Critical Behavior of Positrons in Low-Temperature Gaseous Helium

Abstract
The time-decay spectra of positrons annihilating in helium gas from 4.6 to 30°K have been obtained and it is found that the spectra exhibit a large variation with respect to a small change in temperature. Many-body effects are discussed in connection with the data.Keywords
