Abstract
No proportional correlation was found between average spontaneous running activity per week and excretion of adrenaline in white rats which were temporarily removed from the activity cages for 24-hour periods for the collection of urine. There was only a slight tendency for the more active rats to excrete more noradrenaline. The catechol amine excretion of rats in the cold did not vary with spontaneous activity. Keywords
