Abstract
With reference to a recent article (Science 78: 385-386. 1933) by this title, in which deferred cutting of alfalfa was reported to have prevented severe injury by the leaf-hopper, Empoasca fabae, it should be noted that complete control by any one such method is unlikely in view of dependence upon other factors in different years. Migration of the insect and the factors which affect this movement were found to be of primary importance in determining cutting schedules.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
