Abstract
The mode of action of the integrator supplied with the Zellweger irregularity tester is examined analytically. From the results it is shown that if certain assumptions about the shape of the B–L curve are made, the readings on the integrator can be used to obtain the B–L curve ofa worsted yarn. The result obtained is shown to be fairly insensitive to the actual shape assumed for the B–L curve. Keywords
