Abstract
Unique features of a low angle boundary have been observed in ordered beta-brass. The boundary consists of a dislocation network made up of α〈111〉 superlattice dislocations which have combined to form two α〈001〉 segments. The two α〈001〉 dislocation segments may have three physically distinct configurations of which only one is stable. The stable configuration best fits the experimental observation. The network also contains expanded and contracted nodes whose structure depends upon the presence of extended superlattice dislocations. Keywords
