Phospha-Guanidine II

Abstract
Silylated phosphines (Me3Si)2PH and (Me3Si)3P react with diphenylcarbodiimide giving phospha-guanidines (1: R = H; 2: R = SiMe3). The treatment of 2 with further Ph-NCN-Ph or the reaction of (Me3Si)3P with 2 Ph-NCN-Ph leads after silyl migration and formation of a P°C double bond to . The structure of the compounds are discussed on the basis of their nmr-spectra. The reaction of 1 and 2 with methanol gives the prim. phospha-guanidine H2P-C(=NPh)-NHPh.
