Abstract
The reaction of hexafluoroacetone with various methyl- and chloro-silanes has been studied. It has been found that ready addition occurs to give a variety of fluorinated alkoxy-silanes, containing the grouping Si—O—CH (CF3)2. Some properties of these new compounds are given. Keywords
