Abstract
The effect of niobia on the dielectric properties of glasses in the system Nb2O5–Na2O–SiO2 has been studied from 100 to 1010 cps. The dielectric constant is high even at frequencies up to 1010 cps. The Nb5+ ion, with its small ionic radius and high charge, reinforces the network and raises the dielectric constant. Keywords
