Abstract
Persistant suture material following surgery of the alimentary tract may lead to absess formation, granuloma or suture-line ulcers. Fiberoptic removal is therefore indicated. Persistant sutures may be removed by a high frequency diathermy hook developed by us and extracted with the biopsy forceps. Persistierendes Nahtmaterial nach Operationen im Verdauungstrakt kann zu Bildungen von Abszessen, Granulomen oder Ulzera führen. Eine fiberendoskopische Entfernung ist daher stets indiziert. Persistierende Fäden können mit einem von uns entwickelten Frequenzdiathermiegerät durchschnitten und anschließend mit der Biopsiezange sicher entfernt werden.Keywords
