Abstract
Mallard ducks dosed orally with 8 and 10 lead shotgun pellets developed demyelinating lesions in vagus, brachial and sciatic nerves and focal areas of vascular damage in the cerebellum. These changes preceded anemia and may be of importance in explaining the clinical manifestations of Pb-poisoning in birds. Keywords
