Abstract
The lattice constants and (hexagonal cell) of cerous magnesium nitrate hydrate, Ce2Mg3(NO3)12·24H2O have been determined at 302 ± 1, 78, and 4.2°K. The Bond precision technique was used with radiation and radiation with several samples. Accuracy was limited by unavoidable damage done to the crystals in cooling to cryogenic temperatures. Values obtained for and are at 4.2°K; at 78°K; at 302 ± 1°K.
