Abstract
Two new and one already known bile sterols were isolated from toad bile by use of reversed phase partition chromatography. It was verified that chemical constitution of one of the new bile sterols (m. p. 178.5°C) corresponds to 3α, 7α, 12α, 25ξ 26-pentahydroxycoprostane. Cholylmethylketone was synthesized. Keywords
