Abstract
Halo nevus cells on frozen sections react with sera from patients with benign halo nevus or with malignant melanoma. Halo nevus cells also react with our specifically absorbed heterologous antihuman malignant melanoma antiserum (RAMMA). Since the cytoplasm of all the nevus cells within the halo nevus react with sera from patients with malignant melanoma, the entire population of melanocytic cells in the mole apparently underwent mutation, because non-pathological skin melanocytes do not react. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
