Abstract
The authors present a calculation of the phase diagram of repulsively interacting dipole moments on a centred rectangular lattice, using exact energetics at T=0 and Monte Carlo simulation for T>0. The phase diagram exhibits several interesting phases and some subleties attributable to the long-range dipole potential approximately 1/R3. As this model has been advanced for electropositive adsorbates on BCC (110) surfaces they discuss their results in the context of the system Na/W(110). Some qualitative correspondence is found, but corrections are needed out to at least a distance of twice the W lattice constant. Keywords
