Traumatic rupture of the tricuspid valves

Abstract
A case of ruptured tricuspid leaflet with tricuspid insufficiency, right bundle branch block and rupture of the pericardium with the left phrenic nerve is described following blunt trauma to the left side of the chest at an automobil accident. Total valve replacement with a ball valve prosthesis gave significant symptomatic improvement. Es wird ein Fall beschrieben, bei dem nach einem stumpfen Thoraxtrauma infolge eines Verkehrsunfalls eine Ruptur des Perikards mit Zerreißung des N. phrenicus sowie ein Riß der Trikuspidalklappe mit Trikuspidalinsuffizienz und ein Rechtsschenkelblock auftraten. Vollständiger Ersatz der Klappe durch eine Kugelventilprothese führte zu eindeutiger symptomatischer Besserung des Zustandes. Il s'agit d'un traumatisme du thorax gauche suite à un accident d'automobile. Il s'ensuivit une rupture du feuillet tricuspidien avec une insuffisance tricuspidienne subséquente. Nous constations un brutal bloc de branche droit et une rupture du péricarde avec le nerf phrénique gauche. Le remplacement total de la valvulve par une prothèse donna une amélioration importante des symptômes.
