Abstract
The paper reviews post-war developments in the theory of housing sub-markets and filtering, emphasising the seminal conceptual and empirical contributions provided by William Grigsby. The study discusses the implications associated with these models with respect to formulating housing policy in a market-dominated economy.Keywords
