Abstract
The reaction of dioxygen with the binuclear two-co-ordinate copper(I) complexes derived from the condensation of benzene-1,3-dicarbaldehyde and two molecules of L-histidine methyl ester or L-Nτ-methylhistidine methyl ester occurs with hydroxylation of the aromatic nucleus at position 2, producing binuclear phenoxy-bridged copper(II) complexes. Keywords
