Abstract
The changing of modes taking place in Lamb wave reflected from the limiting edge of a plate is taken into consideration by evaluating the coupling of the single shear and longitudinal components, through Snell’s law. Acousto-optical probing of the acoustic field is used for studying the effect in isotropic plates, in the range of a few megahertz. Keywords
