Abstract
A reply to the comment on mechanical measurement or flux-lattice melting in single crystal Hi-C copper oxide superconductors is presented. Dissipation arises from the motion of the flux lines relative to the cry- stal via Stephen-Bardeen mechanism ,as the flux lines depin. (AIP)Keywords
