Abstract
HLA typing was carried out in 50 Edinburgh, Scotland men aged 45 yr or under who experienced a myocardial infarction and in 96 healthy 40 yr old men randomly selected from the same community. No significant differences in antigen frequencies were found. The hypothesis suggesting as association between HLA-B8 and haplotype A1-B8 with ischemic heart disease was not supported. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
