Scattering of 187-Mev Negative Pions by Hydrogen

Abstract
The differential cross sections for scattering of 187-Mev negative pions in hydrogen have been observed at six angles. The scattering is well represented by the angular distributions in the barycentric system: /sterad, /sterad. A transmission measurement of the total cross section gave 63.5±1.6× . An analysis of these data in terms of phase shifts is discussed.
