Abstract
Hierarchy is usually an organization with grades of authority from lowest to highest, e.g., in the civil service, in organized priesthood, or in enterprises where efficiency is essential. An extremely high degree of efficiency, however, is realized in all kinds of life, from the life of microorganisms up to that of human beings. Therefore, we expect hierarchical structures, partidlarly in life sciences. Keywords
