Topography of the Laryngeal Mucous Glands

Abstract
Information regarding the distribution and topography of the laryngeal mucous glands was obtained from total organ laryngeal sections of two normal larynges and from 45 other abnormal larynges. It is shown that these glands are segregated into distinctive anatomic groups within defined laryngeal regions. The likely role of these glands in influencing cancer spread is suggested.
