Abstract
Fumarate is reduced to succinate in the presence of Zn and phosphoric acid and the succinate formed is detd. manometrically with succinic dehydrogenase. The cone, of 1([long dash])malate is calculated from the equilibrium constant. At pH 7.4 the ratio 1([long dash])malate/fumarate was 2.65 at 50[degree], 3.17 at 40[degree], 3.54 at 30[degree] and 4.57 at 20[degree].This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
