Abstract
Do the procedures used to elicit informed consent in a national survey affect respondents' evaluations of the interview? With one exception, they do not. The exception is the assurance of confidentiality, which enhances evaluations of most aspects of the interview. However, appraisals were less favorable after a lapse of time.Keywords
