Abstract
Seven case histories are presented illustrating various aspects of the noxious effects of emetine on the heart. T-wave changes, S-T segment deviations, and partial heart block are demonstrated. A case of frank myocardial infarction in a young man occurring during the administration of emetine is described. Finally, both persistence and lability of emetine-induced changes are illustrated. Keywords
