Abstract
The temperature dependence of recombination rate constants for KrF*+R+R→RKrF*+R (R=Ar,Kr) has been calculated by using the classical phase‐space theory in the temperature range 300–800 °K. The steep (negative) temperature dependence obtained indicates the possibility of increasing the overall KrF* laser efficiency by raising the operating temperature. Keywords
