Abstract
We study by means of dynamic light scattering the region in between the diffusion and the reaction limited regimes of cluster aggregation of collidal solutions. We also study a simple model based on a suitably modified Smoluchowski equation for the intermediate regime. The comparison of the experimental data with the predictions of the Smoluchowski equation allows a satisfactory interpretation of the experimental data, a clarification of the crossing from the reaction to diffusion aggregation regime, and an estimate of the parameters of the interaction potential between monomers. Keywords
