Abstract
Respiratory effects produced by a series of intravenous boluses of adenosine were studied in nine healthy human subjects. Adenosine produced a significant dose-related increase in respiration, mostly due to increased depth of respiration. Possible mechanisms of this effect are discussed. This publication has 23 references indexed in Scilit:
