Abstract
A 5-yr-old boy had clinical findings consistent with ocular toxocariasis, blood eosinophilia, and repetitive negative (titer 1:2) ELISA [enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay]. The eye was enucleated and larval fragments consistent with Toxocara were present within an eosinophilic granuloma in the vitreous cavity overlying a chorioretinal scar entrance site.
