Abstract
Three surgical options are discussed for patients with familial adenomatous polyposis: proctocolectomy with ileostomy, colectomy with ileorectal anastomosis, and colectomy with rectal mucosectomy and ileoanal pouch with a temporary ileostomy.Keywords
