Abstract
Synopsis: The marine invertebrate macro-fossils of the principal marine bands of Namurian age in Central Scotland are described. The species identified are listed and the vertical and lateral distributions of some species within the region are discussed together with notes on the palæogeography and palœoecology. Notes on the morphology of certain species are given andCampylites carbonarius(McCoy),Dyscritella leeisp. nov.,Koninckopectengen. nov. (type speciesLimatulina scoticaHind),Myalina mitchellisp. nov.,Palœoneilo mansonisp. nov.,Paleyoldia macgregorisp. nov. andSchizodus portlocki(Brown) are described. Keywords
