Abstract
The phase diagram in the wave-vector-potential plane is constructed on the basis of the dependence of the resistance of the quasiperiodic system on the electron's energy. The energy spectrum is of the devil's staircase type. The eigenstates are amplitude modulated and can be either localized or extended. Keywords
