Abstract
It is suggested that the broad enhancement from 1.15 to 1.55 BeV is a complex phenomenon consisting of at least three parts: kinematic enhancement via the Deck mechanism, a possible new resonance at 1320 MeV, and an alternative decay mode of the . It is further speculated that the and could be members of an octet.
