Abstract
The article by Hillman et al. on the frequency and costs of diagnostic imaging in office practice (Dec. 6 issue)* did find that physicians who own their own equipment perform more radiography than those who refer patients to radiologists, but nothing in the study supported the authors' conclusion that physicians who own their imaging equipment may perform more tests in order to make more money. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
