What Suicide Leaves Behind

Abstract
The death of a child is always a tragedy, leaving the survivors with unfathomable grief. Although there is a commonality threaded through all grief responses, the type of death does affect the grieving process. This paper will deal with survivor grief following a child's death by suicide. Remember that a “child” is not merely infant through adolescent. Many grieving parents are grieving the loss of their adult child. We are always the children of our parents.
