Abstract
Actinomycin D administered intraperitoneally just before or after 3 i.v. injections of 7,12-dimethylbenz(α)anthracene inhibited rat mammary tumorigenesis. Effects of these drugs on the ovaries, adrenals or pituitary may not provide an explanation for this finding. In addition, animals receiving the carcinogen frequently developed systemic hypertension This combination of agents could prove to be useful for studying both the interaction of cells with DMBA, and its sequelae. Keywords
