On exact solutions of the Schrodinger equation

Abstract
A new approach has been used to show what kind of potentials can be used to obtain a series of exact solutions in closed forms of the Schrodinger equation for bound states. In particular, the well known Coulombic and oscillator solutions and others are reproduced as special cases.Keywords
