Abstract
(1-x)Pb(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3 perovskite ceramics were synthesized by using PbO, NiNb2O6 and PbTiO3 as raw materials. The prepared specimens were dense (RD>95%) and composed of only the perovskite phase. The morphotropic phase boundary between tetragonal and pseudocubic forms in this system existed in the composition range of 0.3<xx<0.4 exhibited the typical relaxor characteristics. Keywords
