Abstract
Several autotetraploid vegetables (beet, broad bean, cabbage, cucumber, lettuce, melon, potato tomato, squash, etc.) have been produced by various workers. However, these forms do not represent, at the present time, new types that are commercially superior. They are of recent origin and it is possible that marked improvement may be achieved by breeding. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
