Abstract
Cortisol intended for use as a clinical Standard Reference Material has been subjected to liquid chromatography and the resulting fractions analyzed by thin layer chromatography and Fourier transform, proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy at 90 MHz. Four steroid impurities and one artifact have been characterized by means of computer measured chemical shifts. Keywords
