Abstract
Lymphosarcoma of the colon is an uncommon disease entity. The roentgenographic findings which have been most helpful in differentiating lymphosarcoma from other colonic disorders include the presence of: diffuse nodular lesions with irregular margins, the latter suggesting infiltration of the bowel wall; bulky ulcerating masses extending over a long segment of the colon; an association of nonuniform submucosal nodules and marked haustral thickening and circumferential narrowing of the colonic lumen with intact mucosa. Finally, any colonic lesion in a patient with known systemic lymphoma is suspect for being lymphosarcoma of the colon.
