Abstract
“Monomorph” characteristics, i.e. bending motions of a single ceramic plate have been investigated in the PbZrO3-(K1/2Bi1/2)ZrO3 solid solutions. The composition dependence of the bending deformation measured is explainable on the bases of the semiconductor and field-induced strain properties. Also, the bending mechanism could be analysed by measuring the lattice parameter change with an applied electric field. Keywords
